can t make any money homeless suicide

I’m 26 years old and moeny worked many jobs since I was Most recently I tried working for myself which I struggled with for about 3 years. Eventually, it failed and instead of looking for a job right away, I tried desperately to revive the business. Days and weeks went by, bills got backed up and then I got evicted. I’m now on my 46th day on the streets with nothing but a bit of clothes, a cell phone and a laptop. I also had some valuables that I’d been selling on craigslist to get food and essentials which at homleess point are all gone. I’ve been searching for work but haven’t been able to find it. It’s bad enough that I don’t have clothing for interviews or means to keep up with my appearance daily but it’s topped off by the fact that I have some severe anxiety. So much so that I haven’t even gone to homeleds homeless shelter or soup kitchen because of all the people that are. The more time that goes by, the harder it’s getting for me to have human ay. It’s not that I have a lack of work ethic or job skills, it’s just makee damn anxiety. I just wish I could get a job from somewhere where they understand my situation. Like street cleaning. I know I would be around a lot of people on the streets but I would be bundled up because of the weather and wouldn’t need to talk to .

Welcome to Reddit,

So why did Aimee die in a tent in Liverpool city centre? Tue 17 Sep Within three months, on 2 April, Richard Kehoe was discovered comatose in a tent opposite the Royal Liverpool hospital. Soon after, he was pronounced dead. It was a dramatic — possibly draconian — statement. Anderson called the policy tough love, and said there was no other option. He was not prepared to have homeless people dying on his streets, hidden in tents. We will tell not just the story of their death, but the story of their life — what they were like as kids, what their dreams were, their hobbies, what people loved about them, what was infuriating. We will also examine what went wrong with their lives, how it impacted on their loved ones, and if anything could have been done differently to prevent their deaths. As the series develops, we will invite politicians, charities and homelessness organisations to respond to the issues raised.

The places where many chronically homeless people spend their final moments are somehow shocking in their banality. They are public spaces we pass on the way to somewhere else: a parking lot, a dirt path, an embankment behind a high school. Such ordinary places tell extraordinary stories of a health crisis and premature mortality amid surging death rates. In affluent Orange County, homeless deaths rose 74 percent in from the year before, reaching Last year saw the toll rise to But another explanation is the historically unprecedented graying of our homeless population. Employment how the fuck do you make money if you are mentally ill? I am 22, male, cannot keep a fucking job out of intense stress, i think i have borderline personality disorder, I live in Utah. EDIT: great advice i guess i should focus on my mental health for now and then work on the job.

Even delivering for jimmy johns was too much and when my manager grabbed my cute twink dick i had to leave im straight minus that one time I was homeless in San Francisco where i needed a shower and sexual assault aint my thing.

No offence man but you sound a little immature. Most jobs are not fun especially when it comes to retail. What exactly stresses you out so much? I worked at a grocery store to pay for stuff through college for years and it fucking sucked. Customers, manual labor, terrible hours. But I did it because paid the bills. There are many jobs that have zero human interaction that you can do if people stress you out dishwasher, stocker at a store, cook, etc.

Quit feeling sorry for yourself and get out and do something to fix your problem. Talk to a professional if need be. Get a job, ANY job to gain basic skills and move on from. To be fair, OP did say that he was basically «retarded. They likely really have little to no self control.

OP should see if there are any places to get some sort of workplace therapy specifically. I know there are employment agencies in my town that help with. I could be totally off base, but this seemed sort of fake. First and foremost, if you are seriously contemplating self harm, or worse suicide, seek help. If you don’t have any friends or family you feel comfortable talking to, here’s the national suicide hotline number; It sounds like you’ve received treatment in the past for your mental illness.

You really need to tell your therapist, psychiatrist or your primary care what you’re feeling right. Dealing with a mental illness that feels stronger than you ever could on your best day is so aggravating and causes one to feel so hopeless. I’ve been there, dude. I’m still somewhat. I know you’ve sought treatment before but you really should try. Have you ever done a partial outpatient program that helps you develop better coping skills?

Have you thought about applying for disability? It may be a way for you to generate some albeit small income while you continue with therapy and psychiatry. Sounds like your trying hard to obtain the things one can only really have when stable — a job, independent living, a college education — when you’re very much unstable ATM due to your mental illness.

That’s not your fault. Mental illness is a life long thing but it can, and I think will, become much more manageable for you.

But back to my original point: first things first, you need to seek immediate help if you’re thinking of self harm or suicide. Secondly, whatever treatment you’re receiving for your mental illness is clearly not. Demand from you healthcare providers a better treatment plan. Thirdly, patience.

You’re still young! Good things will come but you need to live life day to day. I got overwhelmed and anxious reading your post and I’m not even you! I can’t imagine how stressed you must be! Be kind to yourself! Set small, obtainable goals every day — going to bed at a reasonable hour, brushing your teeth twice a day, going for a walk, taking a shower. It sounds silly but when you start to get some wins under your belt, gain some momentum, your self-confidence will rise and life’s challenges won’t seem so daunting.

I look like a perfectly normal healthy able bodied 22 year old i doubt they would even consider me in red states Texas or Utah where I have lived live. Not. Considering it but that just looks like a huge process for not a lot of money or a rejection. Have you ever considered going to find out if you are in fact a normal healthy able bodied 22 year old, and not someone with real psychological or developmental issues?

People who look normal often have debilitating illnesses that prevent them from working. Which it sounds like you. I’m not sure where you’re getting it that disability isn’t for people like you, but I think it’s definitely worth the time and effort to get that process started. Also please expect that the first time your application will be rejected. Many SSDI lawyers will do a free consultation and help you fill out your appeal on contingency.

Yeah, I think you should just assume that you’ll be rejected the first few times you apply. But if OP is as sick as he says he is and he’s seen doctors who can confirm this, it might be worth it. Also, it’d be something to. Life kinda sucks at You’re considered an adult but your mind really isn’t in adult mode and you’re still kinda intimidated by life.

College really isn’t for everybody. And there are jobs out there that you don’t have to deal with the public. I wouldn’t jump on the disability train just.

That system will eat you up and make you dependant on it. The less you go out and try to interact with the world, the less you will be able to in the long run. Try to make at least one trip out a day to interact with somebody, anybody. Try getting outside your comfort zone once a week. Talk to a stranger we all aren’t bad, and sometimes you’ll talk to somebody who will change your life. But don’t sit inside and away from humanity. That’s the worst thing you could. If you can’t leave the house, there are many jobs you can do from inside the house.

I can leave but it just stresses me out too. Then why not try and get on disability? It doesn’t have to be forever, but it might help you get back on your feet and get in a better mindset. Please get an official diagnosis from a qualified doctor and then apply for Social Security disability.

I speak from experience. I have a family member who was in much the same situation as. Getting on disability and medicaid made his life much, much better. Also, if there are any appropriate groups for you to join, please consider it. Being able to talk life over with people who understand out of their own experience can make a world of difference. As a staunch introvert with anxiety issues, I can only promise you that the more you do get out there and force yourself to interact and take part in society, the easier it gets.

I relish my solitude like nothing. It’s a requirement for me if I’m going to function in the world enough to maintain a career and pay for life. I teach high school, and let me tell you, that’s about the most stress-filled, social job there is. It’s like I decided to can t make any money homeless suicide into the deep end and it was sink or swim time for me.

Luckily, over 15 years into this career, I’m still swimming. It hasn’t been easy. I’ve shed a lot of tears, I’ve had at least one nervous breakdown, and I’ve contemplated quitting almost every year.

But I’m still. And actually, my school and classroom have become a place where I feel secure. My role as a teacher, while not at all aligned with my actual personality, has become something I’m good at.

I play the part, as it. And then I come home, close the gate across my driveway behind me, and enjoy the company of a couple of dogs and horses and a cross-eyed, fat yellow cat. I recharge, and head back into the fray the next day, always, even 15 years later, with a twinge of anxiety and reluctance. That will never completely go away. Good luck to you. Believe in yourself and you’ll accomplish a lot more than you ever thought possible.

Homeless guy spits some truth.
