Now that companies see bloggers and influencers making more sales, driving more audience engagement than celebrities, these brands are creating more campaign for bloggers and influencers into their marketing budget in order to gain traffic. When it comes to blogging, specifically fashion blogging, it is actually a lifestyle-friendly business as mostly you get to work from home, target your topic of interest and share your creative talents. In a way, you are your own boss. Fashion bloggers have a point of view, a bunch of remarkable ideas, a certain taste and an impressive way of presenting and expressing fashion, either visual or written. When some bloggers get too famous, they learn to monetize their blogs in terms of advertising, brand projects, and ad campaigns. But, how do they make money? Can you really earn a living by being a fashion blogger? So, it obviously means that bloggers and influencers have much more leeway to earn than profits through numerous distinctive mediums. These are actually the main earners for bloggers and probably the easiest ones. When they form their blog, they sign up with Google Adsense or Media. Therefore, through these ads, these bloggers usually get paid a certain amount per thousand impressions or per click. This is what a collaboration is. Bloggers collaborate with various brands which match their style and taste. After the bloggers get done with the brand promotion, the brands pay them a certain amount. Sponsored posts or sponsored content are paid for by the advertisers or the brands to promote their products or services through blog posts, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest or whichever platform they wish to choose. Usually, it can be a combination of all these outlets together. When they’re starting out, they might not get big bucks for it, but brands pay them with free clothing items or beauty products. Otherwise, for sponsored posts, bloggers charge quite much from the brands which eventually adds up to their earnings. There are different websites which provide affiliate links for bloggers which they can use in their blogs. Their links are directed towards the clothes or the accessories or even the shoes that the blogger is wearing or buying in pictures and posts. Now, in return, the blogger gets paid either on the basis of a number of clicks on that post or the percentage of total product sales through their posts. So, this is quite different from sponsored content. In this, everything is created by the company. The only thing that a blogger is supposed to do is to promote it on their social media platforms. Again, they pay them for promoting. If a blogger has a niche or a particular interest, they can definitely teach and share it with others. This can happen online as well as offline through workshops, seminars, online sessions or one-on-one sessions. When large conferences related to fashion and beauty are held, then these bloggers are invited to take part in speaking opportunities. Individually the bloggers come up, host and guide the audience about Instagram, DIY skills, Earning etc.
The basic steps needed to start a fashion blog
Something I get asked about often is how fashion bloggers make money. I have been blogging for just over 2 years and left my primary job as a part-time nurse practitioner about 1. Making your income through platforms like Facebook and Instagram can be unsettling as you have to keep up with constant changes. To make a consistent income you have to always be evolving and regularly publishing new and fresh content. Bloggers make money by people deciding to make purchases from their referral.

There are many businesses out there, but not all of them are successful. Blogging is all about sharing what you know with other people who know a little less than you. Go there just to answer questions for people. Start by making a list of things that represent high priorities, things that you know you have to do every day no matter what, also look at those tasks in which you have a deadline, and the end you add the ones that have more flexibility, but you still have to do. Make your list of daily activities, weekly activities, and even monthly activities, and stick to it with discipline until it really becomes a habit.
This is going to save you a lot of time and make you a lot more productive. But yet, they want to become successful, now guest what?? You can also put this in practice with your social media groups, in forums and even asking the people in your email list. Sometimes i love reading, sometimes i hate it. It all depends on my anxiety level. Pro tip: YouTube and audiobooks may also help people who aren’t always in love with reading, although written communication can be more effective. Another thing about successful blogging is to create something epic or spectacular in some way.
Think of the Skyscraper technique, but not necessarily for articles. Rather, implement something that drives people to keep coming back for reference — over and. To give a blatant example, I have a growing list of guest blogs that accept guest posts in the thousands, at this point.
Another example involves the ProBlogger job board, as people have come to know ProBlogger primarily for the jobs rather than the content in my opinion. Likewise, a blogger could implement a weekly or monthly contest and give away anything relevant to their audience a business blog could give away an Amazon business book as a gift, for example.
All in all, strive to create something memorable on your blog. It doesn’t have to be conventional articles. The difference between successful people and ordinary people is, successful people focus on long term results whereas the latter group look for shortcuts. Successful people know that it takes a lot of time mostly years to build a profitable online business that actually makes decent profits.
It also takes money to make money online. Leaders are readers. I personally use Scribd for listening to audiobooks and finishing at least one new book every week.
